Topic - 2020 has been quite a year presenting challenges to many people. Covid & Politics have left people isolated and afraid. Opportunities for support and socializing are limited. Dr. Bozard will share and discuss how people are coping during these times.

About Lewis Bozard - Lewis Bozard, Ph.D., M.Div., LCMHC, LPC is a psychotherapist in private practice in Charlotte and Columbia with 13 years in the counseling field. A primary focus of his practice is LGBTQ individuals, couples, and issues. Prior professional experience includes assistant professor of counselor education at the University of West Georgia, adjunct professor of counseling at Mercer University-Atlanta, and pastor in several contexts including associate pastor of Trenholm Road United Methodist Church in Columbia. Lewis earned degrees from Furman University, Duke University, Mercer University, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. His writing has appeared in several academic journals, and he has contributed chapters to books about LGBTQ issues and spirituality. He has presented lectures at numerous state, regional, and national conferences on topics including male body image, LGBTQ issues, spirituality in counseling, intersections between sexuality and spirituality, exercise therapy, men’s issues, and personality.
