We continue our discussion of Jim Dant’s book, “This I Know” – exploring the biblical “clobber verses” that are often used to judge LGBTQ persons and issues.
We are fortunate to have Reverend Brenda Lynn Kneece lead our March program. Brenda is Pastor at Belmont Baptist Church in Columbia. She also serves as Executive Minister for the South Carolina Christian Action Council. Brenda is a South Carolina native from Monetta (Aiken County), and is a graduate of Winthrop by way of Clemson. She earned her MDiv at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Ordained 41 years ago by her home church, Bethel Baptist, Monetta, SC, she has been in ministry since 1973.
At this meeting, we will have a review of the second half of Dant’s book, followed by breakout group discussion. We plan to have copies of “This I Know” available for purchase ($10), or you may order your own copy by mailing a $10 check made out to Jim to:
