Speaker: Rev. Richard Reams Richard Reams is an ordained United Methodist minister who is currently working as the Marketing and Development Director for Palmetto Community Care, an AIDS service organization that has been providing healthcare, prevention, education and case management services for people living with HIV/AIDS for over 30 years.

For nearly 30 years Palmetto Community Care has made it our mission to assist those living with HIV and AIDS by providing a full spectrum of compassionate care and supportive services, while busting myths, breaking down barriers and inspiring hope. We are constantly working toward bringing an end to the HIV epidemic through increased HIV testing, prevention and education.

We believe no one living with HIV or AIDS should go without medical care, everyday resources and emotional support.Currently, Richard, Katie and their son, Bennett, live in the Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston. Here they enjoy all the great things Charleston has to offer and spend as much time at the beach as possible.
